Your EBEA President, Patsy Czabaranek
has chosen JDRF (Junior Diabetes Research Foundation) as the charity
to support for this year.
It is difficult when anyone is sick, but when
a child is affected it is unimaginable. Many of you have someone
close or know of someone whose child has Type 1 diabetes and
this it is our chance to help and support JDRF in their quest.
There are a number of ways the East Bay Escrow Association will be helping JDRF this year. April 28, 2007 – The Hope Galla at the Fairmont San Francisco. June
23, 2007 our very own Donna Schmidt from Stewart Title
and Lisa Lassagne from Central Signing Service are going the distance
and will be participating in a Ride to Cure Diabetes in Sonoma Valley.
Together they have committed to raise $8,000.00 and will be riding
100 miles each for the cause. You are all invited to attend, cheer
on your EBEA team and volunteer your time at the ride. Review
the Volunteer Job Descriptions and complete and return the Guest
Volunteer Interest to the ride manager. We look forward to seeing
